The High Street Arts Center, after a long and rich history as a silent movie theater and as the first “talking theater” in East Ventura County then a run as the Magnificent Moorpark Melodrama, and after some renovations by Larry Janss, it has finally come to rest in the hands of the City of Moorpark. It now serves as a community theater with rentals to several organizations such as the Miss America Organization, and film companies. Come on down and check us out, but for now read our blog!

HSAC Summer Kids Theatre Camp presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr.
We are so excited to announce that this year our summer youth program doubled in size!
With a staff of 10 accomplished college students and graduates we are up to the challenge! Remember to look back for updates on the production, pictures of the campers, and videos of complete production numbers!
During the first week of camp we learned how to audition, and we learned a dance number, the song "Be Our Guest" and we learned how to cold read. At the end of the week we actually auditioned, and got cast in our roles!
